MyAgLife Privacy Policy

MyAgLife is operated by JCS Marketing, Inc. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use the MyAgLife mobile app, web app, app.myaglife.com, CEU Manager, and MyAgLifeCEU (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, company, job title, mailing address, profile photo, MyAgLife ID, and professional license or credential information you provide.
  • Event, education, and CEU information: event registrations and attendance, course progress and completions, certificates, continuing-education records, and planning preferences.
  • Preferences and contacts: publication, article, podcast, and event alert choices; podcasts you follow; and contacts you choose to scan or save in your private event contact book.
  • Content and support: poll responses, open-text answers, Heroes wall submissions, photos you choose to upload, and support requests and replies.
  • Device and usage information: app platform, version and device details, push-notification token, and interactions such as publication opens, podcast plays, downloads, and feature use.

We receive information directly from you, from the Services you connect, from event registration systems, and—when you ask us to verify a California pesticide license—from public California Department of Pesticide Regulation records.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account; synchronize your profile across connected MyAgLife services; deliver publications, podcasts, events, courses, CEU tools, certificates, and notifications; provide customer support; operate event features; maintain private contacts you save; understand product performance; prevent misuse; and comply with legal and recordkeeping duties.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as needed to operate the Services, including among the connected MyAgLife services and to vendors that provide hosting, email, push notifications, analytics, security, and technical support. Event or course information may be disclosed to the applicable event organizer, education provider, or regulator when needed to provide the service or meet a legal obligation. Third-party podcast, video, map, or linked content is governed by the provider’s own privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.

Retention and account deletion

You may deactivate your account or request deletion from the Account area of MyAgLife. A deletion request has a 14-day recovery period. After that period, we delete or de-identify personal app data across MyAgLife, CEU Manager, and MyAgLifeCEU, subject to required retention. California DPR completion records are retained privately for three years after completion and marked to show that the associated account was deleted. Other records are retained only when required by law. Separately purchased event registrations and accounting records are not automatically canceled or refunded by deleting a MyAgLife account.

Your choices and rights

You can change alert preferences, edit profile information, manage saved contacts, download available records, deactivate your account, or request deletion within the Services. California residents may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by using in-app support or contacting us below. We will verify requests before acting on them.

Security and children

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. The Services are intended for agricultural professionals and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the updated date here and provide additional notice when required.
